When it comes to the tourist visa, you can ask your travel agency to take care of it or DIY by going to Thailand Trade and Economic Office (Taipei) once to get it down.
There's another solution --- Visa on Arrival (VOA).

其實還有另一個方式---辦理落地簽哦!
Going to TTEO to DIY, it costs you a day and NTD 1,200.
Apply for VOA, it costs less than the amount I just mentioned, it's only 1,000B.

如果是落地簽的話只需要1000泰銖。
這篇文章是要來告訴大家要如何在suvarnabhumi airport(BKK)辦理落地簽。
It's not hard.
According to this page, you have to take care of the following list:
Qualifications
Hold the citizenship of a country on the list issued by the minister under the consent of the Council of Ministers of Thailand.
Aim to enter Thailand for tourism for the period of not exceeding 15 days.
Submit one 4 x 6 cm headshot photo taken no longer than 6 months.
Does not fall into the category of aliens prohibited from entering Thailand under the Immigration law.
Possess the return ticket within 15 days.
Truthfully notify the verifiable places to stay in Thailand.
Present evidence of adequate finance, not less than 10,000 Baht (250US$) per person and 20,000 Baht (500US$) per family.
Possess a passport or travel document with validity not less than 6 months.
Pay 1,000 Baht for the visa fee (Thai currency only)
其實真的不難!但為了要嚴謹,我還是去機場網頁上找了相關資訊如下:
VOA必備要件
1.你必須要是可以辦理泰國落地簽國家的公民(台灣有拉 China也有)
2.旅遊目的停留不超過15天
3.必須要有一張在半年內照的4x6的大頭照
4.沒有觸犯禁止入境的相關法
5.有15天內要回去(離開泰國)的飛機票
6.真實的告知在泰國停留居住的地方(可驗證的地址)
7.一人攜帶10,000B以上泰銖,或一個家庭20,000B以上泰銖
8.有半年以上有效期限的護照
9.VOA辦理費用(現金支付)1000泰銖

It's Visa on Arrival! It means that you don't have to do it in advance, you do it just after your flight lands when you are on your way to the baggage claim. (usually, you have to get through the airport immigration, then the baggage claim, but when you need to apply VOA, you will finish the immigration process after applying VOA at the same place)
落地簽顧名思義就是落地才要簽,所以你不必事先申請VISA,而是等到飛機降落,你準備入境去拿行李的時候去辦。(入境的手續會在落地簽的地方一次解決)

You have to fill this form then get into the waiting line to let they check your documents, if it's okay, they will give you a number, then you enter into a waiting place wait for they get it down and yell your number. ( it's like: "154! 154!" and if you are No.154, you can go and get your passport with visa in it)
After this, you get into the waiting line of immigration vetting. After this, you are free to go.(Baggage claim is just in front of you)
你要把下面這張表填好然後帶著所有必備文件去排隊,有人會先檢查你的文件,如果都ok就會發號碼牌給你,然後你就等待叫號拿回你的護照(VOA的visa是用蓋章的蓋在護照裏頭)
然後你就可以排入境排隊,就在同一個地方。check完後就可以直接入境了,入境的地方就是拿行李的地方歐。
OK,now I wanna list someone who might not suitable for using VOA:
1.people who have tight schedule: since you need to apply after arrive, it means it will take you extra time (40min to 2hrs, depend on the amount of people) to get it done.
2.people who don't want to prepare the documents beforehand: you should at least prepare your headshot photo(they got machine you can take it though) and make sure you have more than 1000B cash on hand, a valid passport.
Last but not least,DONT FORGET IMMEGRENTION FORM!!!!! :)
以下我想列幾個不適合使用VOA的情況:
1.如果你有比較緊湊的行程,因為VOA大概會需要在抵達後花你30 min到2 hrs不等的時間,可能會造成行程延後,所以這時候就比較不適合用這種方式入境。
2.有些文件要先準備,照片其實當場有機器可以照,但是還是要先check一下護照、身上要有夠用的泰銖等等的,畢竟都飛過去了,要是無法入境,well...
最後,記得要拿入境卡來填!我常忘記這件事!有時候排隊排到了沒有又得退出重排,有時候檢查文件的人會有...但最好在飛機上就拿好填好啦!養成好習慣!!:)
